Thursday Truths

Happy Thursday everyone. It's hard to believe this week is almost over!

I thought it would be fun to round up a light post for today...Thursday Truths. Just a little peek into what goes on day to day in our little corner.

Here we go...

Truth: Last Thursday night Aria stripped down totally naked and peed on the surge protector in our room.

Truth: I can't understand my very wonderful husbands tv watching habits. He watches numerous shows/movies at one time, switching back and forth at each commercial. It makes my brain want to implode.

Truth: It's really hard to make mom friends. I can't figure out how. I talk to the mom's at Aria's play class 3 times a week, but I can't figure out how to be friends with them outside of class. I feel like a teenager who is trying to determine if someone likes me.

Truth: I got my first haircut in 7 months last week.

Truth: Getting light grey carpet was a huge mistake! If I could go back, I'd 100% talk myself out of it. We had new, beautiful, "cloudy" color carpet installed a few years ago...then we got a massive dog and had a baby. It's more of a beige color now...

Truth: We were waiting in line at JoAnn Fabric on Sunday and Aria lifted my dress up to "see the baby". My arms were full so I was desperately trying to wiggle away to get my dress down, but she was determined to see that baby.

Truth: Sometimes I gauge how tired I am, by how much money I would pay at that given moment, for another hour of sleep.

Truth: Trying to explain when the 5 second rule is appropriate, to a toddler, is really hard.

Truth: I often wonder why Daniel Tiger has tiger print curtains. Isn't that the equivalent to me having human skin print curtains?

Truth: I typed our town into the national sex offender registry to see just how paranoid I need to be on a daily basis. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not.

Well, tomorrow I'll be posting a new pregnancy update! Until then party people...

  1. You crack me up! Thank you for making me laugh. Though I have to admit Doug has the same irritation with me about the TV. I can't stand commercials so when I have control I constantly flip.
