I'm so excited to find out if were adding a baby boy or a baby girl to our family. Tomorrow morning at 8am we have our appointment. We're going to find out the gender then, but were going to keep it a secret from everyone else until tomorrow night, when we do the big reveal.
We may get a little crazy and reveal the name as well!
With it being Wednesday, I thought it might be fun to bring back an oldie but goodie, "What I ate Wednesday". I'm one of those weirdo's who is fascinated by what other people eat...because I'm just plain curious and because I'm always looking for new things to make!
Obviously this isn't what I ate today...since it's still today and I'm still eating. This is yesterdays run down of food.
Sourdough toast, tahini, arugula, radishes, tomato and chia seeds.
Around 9am every morning, I have a protein shake. I love Sunwarrior Vanilla! It tastes like cake. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk. It has 19 grams of protein per serving, which is a great contribution to the 70grams of protein needed daily during pregnancy.
I usually eat my first lunch around 11:30 or 12 when Aria goes down for her nap.
Spinach, arugula, yellow pepper, tomato, pumpkin seeds, homemade balsamic dijon dressing (not pictured)
Chia Drink - 2 cups of water, 3 tablespoons of chia seeds, lime juice and stevia. Full of omega 3's omega 6's, three times more calcium than milk, fiber, antioxidants, protien and a natural energy booster!
Lunch 2 is generally in the 3 o'clock hour.
Tortillas with spinach, black beans, corn, broccoli, tomato, daiya mozzerella
Cashews, nectarine, carrots, hummus
Grapes, snap peas, sweet chili tempeh, and more broccoli.
After Dinner Snack
More grapes...and blackberries.
I'm off to do some work on the blog. This week I'm looking at republishing some of my old content from my pregnancy from Aria, on. Enjoy your Wednesday everyone!
