What I Ate Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Friends! We're having a low key day over here. Wait, can you even have a low key day with a toddler?

Aria doesn't have any toddler classes this morning, so were taking the opportunity to do some much needed cleaning and laundry around here. With only 7 weeks to go until my due date...I'm feeling the itch to make sure things are always done. Just in case of an unexpected arrival.

We did get some strength and yoga in this morning. I went all bodyweight exercises today, with a squat workout, push ups and planks. Then a 30 minute yoga class online. Aria even joined in.

My plan is to get a run in this afternoon. During my last run I had to stop to walk about 3/4 of the way thorough. I started getting some contraction like cramping. It wasn't incredibly painful or anything, but it didn't feel right. I'm thinking it may have been that I didn't have enough water that day. So, I'm going to try for another run today and just feel it out.

Did you know that your body needs 1 cup of water per hour to replenish amniotic fluid? So drink on up my baby bumpin' mama's!

This afternoon we're headed to the grandparents for our favorite day of the week...Pizza Wednesday! Truly the best tradition we started this year. It's so fun to get together in the middle of the week to eat, talk, play and have races through the yard.... And of coarse theres my favorite part...sneaking away for a nap.

On to the food!

Breakfast: Tahini, Arugula, Tomato, Avocado on Sourdough Toast

Lunch: Wild Rice, Tempe with Enchilada Sauce, Spinach, Black Beans 

Snack: Zucchini, Olives and Hummus

Lunch...again: Habanero Lime Tortilla with Spinach, Avocado and Pico de Gallo, {Leftover} Broccoli and Potatoes. 

Snack: Kiwi. Straight up.

Then I snuck some Halloween candy. Yum. 

Dinner: It was much more delicious than the picture makes it look. With it getting dark so early, I had zero natural light. Womp womp. 

Shells and Arugula topped with Pumpkin and Butternut Squash Spaghetti Sauce from TJ's.
